Always looking for answers, always trying to see around corners, Chris’ driving force is helping clients take stock of today and help prepare for tomorrow. As the Chief Investment Officer of Northeast Sequoia Private Client Group, Chris Pike is responsible for development and implementation of the firm’s investment management strategies. 

Prior to joining Northeast Sequoia Private Client Group in 2018, Chris was the portfolio manager of the Shelton Capital Real Estate Income Fund, a position he held since the fund’s inception in June 2013. Before that, Chris was the Chief Investment Officer of a registered investment advisor. During that time he had oversite of an investment team managing over $500 million across three publicly listed mutual funds and separate accounts. Earlier in his career, Chris refined his investment and research skills as an equity research analyst at firms such as at Merrill Lynch, UBS, and Wells Fargo Securities. Chris was previously a member of the real estate investment banking team at Goldman Sachs, which focused on the origination and distribution of CMBS securities. A graduate from Rutgers College, he holds FINRA Series 7, 65 and 63 licenses and is a Chartered Financial Analyst®.
